A campus community providing an enriching residential, educational environment for vulnerable children

Is New Song right for my child?

New Song empowers parents by offering a fresh educational opportunity for their child. If you are looking for a place that can offer your son or daughter a solid education and a safe, caring Christian environment, then we would love to help!

Here is an overview of some of things we offer our students:

Our educational program includes the following:

  • Small class sizes (up to 8 students per classroom)
  • Qualified, licensed teachers
  • Individual tutoring
  • Wholesome classroom environment
  • Preparation for college/trade school

We seek to help children grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Caring, Christian houseparents support our students by providing them with love and guidance to help them grow and thrive. Some unique things about New Song houseparents are that they are:

  • Carefully screened and selected to provide a nurturing environment to children
  • Fun Christian couples who are good role models for children
  • Trained to work with children who have mild behavioral and emotional issues

The New Song homes were carefully designed for large families and lots of children. Our homes have:

  • A large kitchen and dining room for family meals
  • A large living room where kids can play together
  • Four bedrooms that can have up to two kids per room
  • Private bathrooms
  • A study for homework or counseling
  • A recreational area in the walkout basement of each home

New Song’s campus is very large and beautiful, with 100 acres in the scenic hills of Brown County, Indiana. Some of the recreational opportunities we provide kids on campus include:

  • A recreational park that includes a kickball field, basketball court, playground, challenge course, and gazebo
  • Hiking and biking trails
  • A pond for fishing, canoeing, and swimming
  • A creek to explore

Kids will also take trips to local parks, museums, libraries, and other fun places.

As a Christian organization, New Song houseparents and other staff members will support each child’s spiritual growth through:

  • Daily chapel services
  • Family devotions and prayer times
  • Times of music worship
  • Bible classes
  • Off-campus church attendance
  • Christian discipleship
