God's Continued Provision
We are excited to share that God, in all His goodness, has provided New Song with a wonderful gift of beautiful kitchen cabinetry for our third campus home from MasterBrand Cabinets in Jasper, Indiana! “We praise God for this incredible gift which helps us complete Home C and phase one construction so that we can shift all of our efforts toward bringing children to New Song,” declared Bob Schloss, Founder and Director of New Song Mission.
MasterBrand has been a great friend of New Song’s over the years. The company, in partnership with Jasper Engines, generously donated all of the kitchen cabinetry for our first two homes within the past few years. “We were so impressed with the quality of the cabinetry from this manufacturer, we decided to apply one more time to receive cabinetry for Home C, ” shared Ron Eddins, Construction Manager for New Song Mission. After several weeks of prayer, New Song was notified that we would be the recipient of $15,000 worth of handsome kitchen cabinetry!
“This gift represents as much to us spiritually as it does materially,” stated Lisa Schloss, Associate Director of New Song. “The contribution reminds us that God remains in control of New Song’s development and that He continues to provide for all of our needs, out of His faithfulness and love for fatherless children. ”
This spring has brought more volunteers to campus, allowing Home C to move closer to completion. Work remaining in the home includes installing kitchen cabinets, finish electrical, plumbing, and trim work, as well as completing the back deck of the home.
New Song Board President, Elizabeth Kuehner, summed it up best when she said, “This donation was amazing! To me, it demonstrates the goodness of God and His provision for His children. He knows what we need and He provides for us. Always!” Praise be to God for this incredible gift!
